The Central Dredging Association’s next event to be held on the Iberian Peninsula, a conference and exhibition - will take place on 27-28 October 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Co-organised with and hosted by the Portuguese Engineers Association (OE), at their premises, the central theme will be ‘Dredging for sustainable port development’.

The conference will address key topics relevant to the success of local port dredging and sediment management projects, and reflect current thinking on the meaning of sustainability in this particular context.

Conference Chair, Stefan Aarninkhof, Professor of Coastal Engineering at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, said “The conference offers an excellent opportunity to share state-of-the-art insights, on sustainable development of marine infrastructure, in the real-world context of Iberian projects”.
