Dredging for sustainable port development

Technical programme

27-28 October 2016, Lisbon, Portugal

The conference will address key topics relevant to the success of local port dredging and sediment management projects, and reflect current thinking on the meaning of sustainability in this particular context. Chaired by Stefan Aarninkhof, Professor of Coastal Engineering at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, the technical committee has carefully curated this conference with a view to exchanging the latest knowledge and real-world experience in the Iberian Peninsula. Following on the enormous success at CEDA Dredging Days 2015, and as part of CEDA’s support to young professionals, the technical programme will also include a block of  3 Young CEDA  fast-paced pitch talks by students and young professionals to present their works and enable them to get in contact with experienced professionals. Speakers of the Young CEDA pitch talks block do not have to adhere to the overall conference theme.
